Benefits: The regular practice of yoga has the potential to improve flexibility, balance, strength, muscle tone, energy and vitality, metabolism, mobility, mood, and sleep. Participants typically experience fewer muscles cramps and deeper and easier breathing. Reduction of tremors is also possible. Perhaps most importantly, these benefits combine to instill peace of mind.
Goals: This class is intended to help students experience greater physical and mental freedom. This is done by improving flexibility, strength and balance. The yoga exercises done in these classes will create greater ease in breathing and sleeping. Daily activities will become easier to accomplish.
