Friends and family - Please join me in supporting the 2019 American Parkinson Disease Association Optimism Walk. As many of you know, I was diagnosed with Parkinson disease several years ago. Since then I have benefited from many programs provided by the APDA. I am asking you to support Team Dan for the 2019 Walk. The APDA staff are dedicated professionals and very encouraging. They make me feel like I am part of their team. For example, in a recent exercise class, all the participants shared techniques they use for living well with Parkinson disease. I learn something in every program I attend. So you can teach an Old Dog new tricks!  Please consider a donation to support this wonderful organization. You are also welcome to join me the day of the event to walk in support of me and the Parkinson's community. Thank you!

Team Dan has set a lofty goal and I hope to beat it because I know that every dollar raised makes a difference.  The more funds we can raise for the APDA Optimism Walk, the more people we can help in the local PD community.

  • Need some encouragement?  Every 9 minutes someone is diagnosed with Parkinsonā€™s disease.
  • Funds raised enable the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) to continue providing information, education, and support to those touched by Parkinson disease in our community and fund scientific research into the causes, prevention, treatments and ultimately the cure.

You can make an easy online donation by clicking on the 'Donate to Our Team' button. You will automatically receive a confirmation email and we will be notified by email of your support.

Thank you in advance for your generosity. Together we are truly making a difference for those in need!
