Hello, my name is Chris Siegel. I was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease last year. For a few years now, I’ve been having trouble typing with my left hand (this is just one of my symptoms). This is challenging when you work on a computer all day. My Parkinson’s has been linked to my military service (hence the name Team Camo). Since I have been diagnosed I have received incredible support from my family and friends. Thank you. I believe God put each of us this earth to help others. How can we do that? Here is one way. I would like to ask for your help in raising money to support those of us in the Parkinson’s community. There are 1 million people in the US that are living with Parkinson’s. Every nine minutes someone is diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. The funds will go towards research so hopefully a cure can be found for this ugly disease and towards support programs in our local area. I have set a goal for Team Camo of $1000. ANY amount you can donate is greatly appreciated. Please, help! And, let’s put the FUN in FUNdraiser. I would love to have you walk with us at the APDA Iowa Optimism Walk on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the On With Life Therapy Grounds in Ankeny, IA. Team tailgating and registration will begin at 9:00 AM and the walk is at 10:30. I hope to see you there, and again, thank you for your support and your donation!
