While I work every day at the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA), I have not yet done any personal fundraising for our organization....now is the time! My awesome colleagues and I have formed a team for the upcoming APDA Long Island Optimism Walk and we're ready to raise some serious funds to fight Parkinson's disease (PD)! While every dollar makes a difference, and we're excited to see what our team can do, I am personally hoping to kick my teammates butts and be the best fundraiser on our team!
I CANNOT DO THIS WITHOUT YOUR HELP! Not only will you be helping me be an impressive fundraiser, more importantly you'll be helping APDA provide more programs and services to people living with PD and their care partners.
Need more encouragement?
Every 9 minutes someone is diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.
Funds raised enable APDA to continue providing local education, information and support to those touched by PD through our APDA Information & Referral Centers at St. Catherine of Siena Wellness Center (Commack) and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine (Old Westbury) as well through other critical programs and services throughout Long Island.
The more funds we raise, the more people we can help!
You can make an online donation by clicking on the 'Support Me' button. You will automatically receive a confirmation email and I will be notified by email of your support.
On behalf of APDA and the PD community we serve, thank you, in advance, for your awesome generosity.
PS: We'd love to have you join our team and walk with us! You can click on the 'APDA Transformers' link above and then 'Join Our Team' to register!
