Friends & Family,

We've been so blessed to have such amazing people in our life.  All of you walk with us in the Parkinson’s journey.  You know it’s a disease that's unrelenting and impacts different people in different ways.  For Chad, who was diagnosed 16 years ago at the age of 33, PD does its best to attack his balance, gait, speech, cognitive ability, sleep, control of his bodily movement---but he fights back each day.  With amazing grace!

Chad is an amazing parent to Jordan, who keeps us on our toes every waking hour and brings immeasurable joy as he passionately lives his best life.  While the impact of PD sometimes makes Chad want to stay in bed, he can't...he's a parent.  So he gets Jordan ready for school and heads out to Rock Steady Boxing to engage in some intensive exercise that positively impacts his symptoms as well as his general physical health.

Our life is blessed beyond measure and we're committed to doing our part for the PD community.  Greg joined the APDA-Wisconsin Board of Directors in 2018 and Chad plays a vital role in making our annual Wine Event a success. Last summer, Jordan organized his own team for the APDA Optimism Walk in Madison.  One of the state chapter's largest fundraisers, the April 13, 2019 annual Wine Event (the 10th Annual!) at Blackhawk Country Club in Madison will feature Wisconsin native-turned award winning Sonoma County, California winery proprietor, Debra Mathy from Dutcher Crossing Winery.  She'll be pouring four of her amazing wines, paired with Blackhawk Country Club chef-inspired small plates.  Live music, more wine tasting and silent auction items galore await supporters after the wine and food pairing ends.  For more information on how to purchase a ticket to the event (it will sell out this year, like it did last year), please visit: https://apdaparkinson.donordrive.com/event/wine2019.

We realize many of you can't make the trip, but want to help APDA and be supportive of this important cause and our event.  For those who feel so compelled, please make a tax-deductible donation below.  Any amount is deeply appreciated.  Thank you for standing with us with your support, friendship, and financial contributions to build a strong state chapter of the American Parkinson Disease Association.

With Love and Gratitude,

Greg
