After March 22nd 2012 my life changed after my confirmed diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson's a few of my friends said: "If someone must get this disease, Alicia is your gal. She will find the tallest building and shout out the importance of awareness, research, and raising funds to support the cause." And that is exactly what I intend to do! I believe one person has the power to make a difference in the world!
My goal is to strengthen Michigan Young Onset Parkinson's community because at the heart of every successful nonprofit there is a dedicated core of friends, supporters and volunteers who donate time, talent, and treasure to the organization, maintaining its operations so it can do good for the community.
