Event Date: May 19, 2012
Location: Arongen Elementary School, 489 Clifton Park Center Road in Clifton Park, NY

I am a 55 year old father and husband and was diagnosed with PD almost four years ago. My sons and I have been doing Taekwondo for many years and nothing has helped more - physically, spiritually and emotionally. The name of our school is Adirondack Martial Arts Center, also in Clifton Park, NY. The owner and Master, as well as all of the instructors, are deeply caring and have hosted several fund raising events, and now its time for PD. This championship has several components, one of which is board breaking. Each participant in this event is required to purchase his or her own boards and all of the proceeds will go to the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA). I hope to be judging, but will have an educational and donation table at the entrance. However, if you find that you cannot make it to the demonstration, please feel free to donate to this worthy cause online. If you are in the area, please stop by or help by donating online. All donations go to APDA.
If you would like more information about the event, please contact me at gilleece@mac.com or at 518-222-3441.
