Hi, Everyone!
Many of you know me from high school (Kelly Smith) and many of you know me because our kids (Courtney & Blake Pierson) went through high school together. I recently got re-married in June 2011 to a wonderful man (Brenton Boutin).
So.....I want to welcome you to my Parkinson's Disease OPTIMISM Walks 2012 personal fundraising page!
As the APDA Parkinson's Coordinator for East Texas for the last five years, I am also reaching out to our community to help "Ease The Burden & To Find A Cure" for Parkinson's Disease.
My dedication and devotion to this cause besides my passion for my patients, is to honor the memory of my grandmother, Samantha Smith, who passed on with lung cancer in 2007. I also do this in honor of Eva Evans and Corene Schwab.
I so love my Parkinson patients and spending time with them in our support groups all over East Texas. They are the reason why I do what I do.
I am looking for additional support for our annual walk. Please help me to support Parkinson's Research.
